Enjoying a fabulous location on the north eastern shore of Lake Lugano and just 20 minutes from Lake Como this fully furnished self-catering apartment is situated to the third floor of a family-friendly holiday complex with onsite facilities and activities.
A lift conveniently takes guests to the third floor of the main Palazzo building which is located in the heart of the beautiful Porto Letizia complex.
The property enjoys a spacious and modern layout with an open plan living room with sofas, chairs and SAT TV and offering plenty of light from the floor to ceiling double French doors, which open out onto two lovely balconies ideal for morning coffee with pleasant views of the surrounding mountains and holiday village. WIFI access is an additional feature to the property and can be arranged by guests at the onsite computer shop.
The open plan living room also provides a modern kitchen diner ideal for relaxed and sociable holiday stays, with a gas hob, microwave, refrigerator and all the desired cooking utensils and crockery. A dining table is perfect for a party of 5 and the stylish Panama Cafe bar and authentic Italian restaurant are situated to the ground floor of the Piazza for enjoyable alfresco meals.
Flexible accommodation makes this property ideal for friends and family with a stylish master bedroom with double bed, a second modern bedroom with a single bed with a pullout option to sleep 2, and a sofa bed to the living area to sleep an additional 2 if required.
The modern bathroom features a bath tub and overhead shower, washbasin, WC and bidet and onsite laundry facilities are provided for guests’ convenience.
As well as a stylish cafe bar and family friendly Italian restaurant the Palazzo also provides a hair salon, welcome reception with visitor information and resident parking to the front of the building.
Onsite activities include the outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a children’s park, mini golf and a resident sandy beach ideal for sunbathing and daytime relaxing. Paths perfect for joggers, cyclists and dog walkers meander through the splendid leafy lakefront grounds and guests can enjoy picnics on the shady lawns. Children can also enjoy the water park which is just 500m from the Porto Letizia complex and a fun day out for the family.
The popular town of Porlezza provides all the necessary amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible with cafes, ice cream parlours, clothes shops and supermarkets. A bus service operates from the town to the cosmopolitan Swiss city of Lugano and also to the picturesque resort town of Menaggio on Lake Como, which are both ideally situated just 25 minutes away.
Local activities include hiking in the mountainous Lake Lugano nature reserve, cycling and fishing in the Lago di Piano nature reserve, horse riding in the Porlezza countryside and playing a round of Golf at the Menaggio & Cadenabbia Golf Club.
Lake Como also offers some fine villas and botanical gardens and a wide range of activities for guests of all ages from the Jungle Raider Park above Bellagio to sailing and boat hire services along the Tremezzina shore.

To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining holiday balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

In the high season months of July & August, arrival & departure days are on Saturdays only.

Each Porto Letizia property requires a compulsory final cleaning charge to be paid locally on departure. This final cleaning charge is dependent on the property type and it varies as follows:
Studio Apt: EU60
1 Bedroom Apt: EU70
2 Bedroom Apt: EU85
3 Bedroom Apt. or Villa: EU100
On arrival you can hire a baby-cot for EU20, a highchair for EU15 and an extra bed for EU85. If you bring a dog with you then this will cost an additional EU30. All these charges are not dependent on the length of your stay and are a one off payment, they are not included in the above mentioned rental prices.
Linen and towels are available for an optional cost of EU15 per person. Please note, if you choose not to accept this option, you will need to provide your own linen for the duration of your stay.
There is also an additional compulsory fee of EU4 per adult per night & EU2 per child (upto 16 years of age) per night when staying in Porto Letizia. This is inclusive of gas, electricity and water. Air-conditioning is also included between July and August in Palazzo apartments only. It also includes free on-site parking, concierge service, 24hr reception, swimming pool usage, beachside sun loungers (subject to availability), ping pong, on-site children’s entertainment between 15th June – 15th Sept, cooking lessons, wine lessons, hiking excursions, 10% off boat hire, 10% off nearby tennis court, grocery delivery service by the local supermarket, Lido-beach entrance between 1st June - 30th September and much more (enquire on-site for details).
Starting from the 1st April until the end of September there is a local council tourist tax to be paid of EU1.50 per person per night for all persons above 14 years of age for a maximum of 10 days.
You will be asked to leave a EU300 deposit at the reception to cover accidental damages. If you accept the damage waiver at the time of booking you will not be asked for this deposit.
Internet is available for the majority of the complex at a 24 hours cost of EU10, a weekly cost of EU35 and a two weekly cost of EU55.
